Members of An Innocent Band play Clowes Hall | 05.07.11

Travis, Jay, Dave, and Gregg reprised their roles in RENT to perform with the rest of the cast at a benefit for Aids reseach. Monday, May 2nd, Spotlight held a benefit concert consisting of many musical and dance performances at Clowes Hall. The Civic Theater cast of RENT was asked to perform “Seasons of Love” as the finale to the show. The song was played through twice, the first time with the cast and the second time many of the performers from the night joined in onstage. This was a grand event that reunited the members of AIB with their friends from RENT and raised over $400,000!

Thank you to each and every one of our fans who joined us for An Innocent Band’s first show!! You made the evening what it was – and was it an evening to remember or what?? While a storm almost ruined the night, nothing was going to keep us from the Birdy’s crowd. The skies cleared up just in time to let us rock with four other amazing bands.

There is nothing better than jamming for a great cause and the benefit concert for Riley Children’s Hospital was a success. We hope everyone can make it out to our next show because you all ROCK!
